Iterare la variabile XML in SQL Server

Aggiornamento: se devi usa la vecchia procedura memorizzata legacy e non puoi cambiarla (sarebbe il mio modo preferito per farlo), quindi dovresti eseguire il loop row-by-agonizing-row (RBAR), ad es. utilizzando una variabile di tabella:

INSERT INTO @RbarTable(CategoryName)
  SELECT
