Rails 5.2 ActiveStorage con UUID su Postgresql

Dopo ore di navigazione riga per riga nel codice sorgente e eseguendo gli stessi comandi

@message = Message.new(message_params)
@message.save

ancora e ancora. Abbiamo ottenuto gli stessi risultati casuali ancora e ancora. Quindi abbiamo esaminato i binari dei registri stampati mentre allegavamo l'immagine al messaggio e abbiamo osservato quanto segue:

record_id era impostato come 534736 , invece di un uuid. Ecco dove abbiamo sbagliato.

L'archiviazione attiva si aspettava una chiave esterna intera per il nostro modello di messaggio e volevamo che utilizzasse invece uuid. Quindi abbiamo dovuto correggere la nostra migrazione, utilizzare uuid invece di chiavi esterne intere.
