Dopo alcune ulteriori ricerche, vedo che Hadoop 2.x sovrascrive il percorso di classe, quindi la soluzione è creare un uberjar e passalo a hadoop.
Ho anche cambiato per utilizzare invece il jar sdoop specifico per hadoop260.
Quindi, ho creato un pom.xml file, eseguito maven package su di esso per generare uberjar:
