Problemi nella creazione di query MySQL in Symfony contenenti JOIN e RAND()

$connection = Doctrine_Manager::getConnection()->getDbh(); 

non funzionerà... Prova questo:

$connection = Doctrine_Manager::getInstance()->getCurrentConnection()->getDbh();

Quindi:

$stmt = $connection->query('SELECT * FROM some_table');
$stmt->execute();
$result = $stmt->fetchAll();
