Caricamento dell'immagine nel BLOB del database MySQL in codeigniter

$this->input->post('photo') nel modello non funzionerà per recuperare le informazioni sull'immagine. Perché le immagini sono archiviate in $_FILES non in $_POST. Quindi è necessario utilizzare la libreria di caricamento in codeignitor come di seguito.

       $this->load->model('edit_profile_model');

       $config['upload_path'] = './uploads/';
       $config['allowed_types'] = 'gif|jpg|png';

       $this->load->library('upload', $config);
       $this->upload->do_upload();//upload the file to the above mentioned path

       $imgdata = file_get_contents($imgdata['full_path']);//get the content of the image using its path

           'city' => $this->input->post('city'),
           'pincode' => $this->input->post('pincode'),

       $this->db->update('userdetails', $data);

Per recuperare l'immagine scrivi una funzione nel modello come di seguito.

       echo $result['image'];
}

Inoltre, non è una buona pratica archiviare l'immagine e recuperarla dal database. Invece di provare a memorizzare l'immagine in una cartella e memorizzare il percorso nel database come di seguito.
